Teen Info on Cancer : tips

Get advice from the ones who really know what they're talking about - the other teens who've been there.

We need as many tips as possible, as everyone has something to add - get it going - add your own!

	24/09/2010 : Friend or foe? jellie (Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, 14, F, Wales) Don't worry about people being nasty or making nasty remarks about your cancer. If someone is arrogant enough to make you feel bad about something like this they arent worth worring about.
(No image)	14/08/2010 : Put yourself on the Map! x_abbie_x (Hodgkin lymphoma, 16, F, England) Hey, I've been looking round TIC and found that there's a map that you can put on where you live. Just search for it and it's the second result. Hopefully people will then be able to see who lives near them!!xx
(No image)	14/08/2010 : Port (or Portacath) x_abbie_x (Hodgkin lymphoma, 16, F, England) Especially for girls try and ask for your port to be placed up by your neck, sort of on your chest if you can. If they put it under your bra line it can sometimes flip and you may have to have it moved. Also your bra rubs on the cut and is uncomfortable for a bit.
