It is important that you start back at school as soon as you are able. The longer you take, the harder it becomes. Your school should be able to make certain arrangements to make your return to school easier. If you are in a wheelchair or have mobility issues, you can ask them to move the classes around if you can’t get to them.
Don’t be afraid to ask your school for support or assistance - if it makes your life easier then it is worth it. It’s also fine to return to school on a part-time basis to begin with and gradually build up to full time. You may find that you tire more easily and a full school day is too much at the beginning.
If you have a home tutor, they can help you on your way to returning to school or college. There may be times when you have both home tuition and some school or college attendance until you are ready to return on a more permanent basis.
