It’s natural to feel worried or frightened when a friend has cancer. It can often help to talk to your parents about your feelings. If you’re not able to talk things over with your parents, it can help to talk to another adult close to you. This could be another member of your family, a teacher, a family friend or someone from your church, mosque or temple. They might be able to help you understand and cope with some of your feelings. It might help to share your feelings with someone who’s has a similar experience. Check out our share it section to see how others cope.
