5 Weeks Onstory added: 20/02/2008Dottie (Hodgkin lymphoma, 20, F, England)I just felt like writing a story... 5 weeks since I finished chemo and I'm feeling good. Still having some difficulty walking but my physio said apparently it's getting a tiny bit better. Just got to keep up the excersises! Got a meeting with my school next Thursday to discuss coming back and how I'm gonna get to lessons and what I'm gonna do etc. Hopefully I'll get a key to the lift so wont have to bother with the stairs! Hahahaha that would be awesome. I'm also going to pick up my new kitten on Saturday - only 3 days I'm so excited. I don't know how my other two cats will react cos they're both old and fat and the kitten will run rings round them... ah well! What I'm most happiest about though is getting my PIC line removed. Instead of sitting with my right arm out of the bath for 5 months I can now go in showers!! Oh my god the luxury! When I had my first shower after it came out I stood under the shower for about 5 minutes just smiling. I was so chuffed. Hair is growing back and I've now got a nice coating so you can no longer see my scalp which is very pleasing. I've now written quite a long story so I'll go lol. Hope everyone is good Dottie xxx |
