Brunette! Biggest Lampard fan!!!!

Hi All!

My name is Sam and I'm 17. I was diagnosed with a germ cell tumour on one of my ovaries back in september 2006. I was very ill in hospital with pneumonia on one lung and I had 13 litres drained off my abdominal area because the tumour produced fluid. I had 23,000 cancer markers and now iv only got 4! I stayed in hospital for a month. I had a central line in my neck, a picc line in my arm and 7 cycles of chemotherapy. I had my operation in february last year and I have recovered well. The Chelsea footballer Frank Lampard wrote to me while I was ill, so this gave me a boost. In may 2007 my dad nominated me for a Try Angle Bravery Award and I came runner-up recieving a certificate. I love cross stitching, watching comedies, listening to my music on my ipod and spending time with my best friend. My hair is about 6 inches now and Im scrunching it with mousse to make curls, looks fab!

I really sorry but i havn't been very well and last week was half term.Half term was good for me i went to my nans for a couple of days and my mum started to have her new kitchen fitted.Two days were spent at hospital.One was at Marsden for check up and we had a long chat as we needed stuff to be sorted out.Friday i went to the childrens hospital in brighton to see the person who is monitoring my tummy.Tuesday i had long term follow up clinic and an emergency bone scan which is to try and solve my back pain.Today i had a hormone test which was done at st georges tooting.

Anyway i think i'm going to write a new diary entry.

Hi Hun,

Sorry to hear about that,hospitals can be a bit of pain sometimes.I'm not so good on strong antibiotics to make my tummy better but they're making me worse.Still in loads of pain with my back.

Anyway half term now so will try and enjoy it!
