Hello guys, i had bone cancer in 2004! it hit me hard at first and the thought of loosing my hair and having to have operations really scared me, it has effected me really bad emotionally. I finished all my chemo on the 23rd of dec 2004 but have had to have alot more sergury had my last operation on the 15th of dec 08. i just wanted to know if theres anyone else out that there that is sturggling to accept the fact they have had cancer. I have some huge scars but the best way to deal with those is to forget you even have them. Can anyone help me? Notes left for Hollz_babyRe: NeuroblastomaI have all these questions in my head now, but all I really want to know is how they all are. Even relatively speaking (as you do, with cancer...) Do you still know or see any of them? How are they doing? Are any of them on TIC?? Thanks for this, you've made my night! Left by IlamEvie Hey!Hiya =) I had an operation in Sept 08 due to cancer of my kidney. Left by momo123 hii was looking at your page and i can identify with everything you said, i finished chemo quite early on in my treatment but had loads of operations after that (bone cancer) last one was April 08. i was treated at stanmore, where were you treated? I am the same, i have big physical and emotional scars and somehow i dont think they will ever go away. No one really understands what it's like to have cancer do they, until they get it....

It was so big due to finding a 22cm tumour on my right kidney, it had been growing for nearly ten years and i didn't find it until Aug 08. I had the operation, everything was fine, no treatment, just check-ups & scans. I had my 6month scan results on the 6th of May, my scar & other kidneys fine .. But was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. I'm 17! The kidney cancer was weird, its called a Renal Cell Carcinoma and it doesn't develop in people my age, more 60-90 yr olds! The youngest my specialists have ever treated was late 30's early 40's. & now my Lung Cancer has been caused due to an infected lymph node travelling to my left Lung.
