Hello Robert

There is info about cold caps (or scalp cooling) on CancerBACUP's main website - www.cancerbacup.org.uk It is very likely that you wont be able to use a cold cap if you have leukaemia as the chemo needs to circulate around the whole body - scalp included. There is info on the CancerBACUP website about coping with hair loss, if you need it.

You can navigate to the info on cold caps or hair loss by going to the 'Resources & support' section where you'll find hair loss under 'Symptoms & side effects'. The info about scalp cooling is contained in this section too.

I hope these help.

Best wishes
Richard
