If you are aged 13 - 24 and have (or have had) cancer, then TIC's share it section is your space to share your experiences and read other people's.
setting up your page
You can set up your page, add your intro text, choose an icon, and your colour scheme by registering with TIC. You can edit all of these things when you are logged into the site by clicking 'edit profile' in the menu bar.
my TICspace
This shows the page that other users will see when they look at your webpage. You can look at other users' pages in the yourSpace section in the dropdown menu.
If you want to set up your page, but you don't want it to be looked at by other people, you can choose not to share your page in your profile options.
writing stuff
You can add as many stories or tips as you like, so it's best to write more short stories than one very long one! It makes it easier to read online, and means that other users can find out more about specific parts of your experiences. Once more stories have been added, then we'll add some links in other areas of the site - so if someone is reading about being diagnosed with a brain tumour, they can click through to real experiences of this. But most important - don't worry about it! If we think that it might be better to change your story a bit, we'll email you when you submit it. There are also some rules about what we can put up on the site - click here to find out more.
For further help on how to do things:
tell us about it
The share it section has only been live for 2 years, so if you think there's anything we could be doing better - let us know! It's YOUR space and we want it to work in the best way possible for you.
