My N.G tube!

Well, the thing i had been dreading the most finally happened. I had been losing lots of weight due to feeling sick and mouth ulcers. I was down to 34kg and my doctor said i needed a nasal gastric tube to help feed me. I was ok with it to start with because i was getting it inserted while i was in theatre getting a lumbar puncture. When i woke from the anaesthetic all i could feel was this horrid thing coming out my nose! i immediately demanded it be removed, but no such luck. I hated it sooo much and cried nonstop most nights. Every night i got fed high calorie feed. I kept getting saliva stuck in my throat and i was sick every night for 2 weeks!!! i finally got used to it after a few weeks and started being able to eat and drink myself. After 6 weeks i got it removed  The only up side of it was that i got my meds through it aswell.
