TIC launched on 11th May 2005

The day started with a balloon release by the Thames, with Delta Goodrem, Laura Michelle Kelly, Mark Rhodes and Sam Nixon.  There were 180 balloons - to represent the number of young people diagnosed with cancer in a month.

Inside the venue were entertainers including stiltwalkers and jugglers, laptops so that people could check out the website, and animations from the site projected onto a big screen.

Speakers included Delta Goodrem, lots of people from cancer charities, and Robert & Ellie, teenagers who shared some of their experiences of living with cancer.

The day ended with a trip to the London Eye as an extra thank you for all the teenagers who helped make it happen.
