While you are at home, there are lots of different people you can call if you have any questions or problems. They are:
- the nurses or doctors at the hospital where you are being treated
- the nurses and doctors at your shared care hospital
- your GP
- your district or community nurses
It is better to call them during working hours. There are fewer people and services available at night and weekends to help make arrangements for you, but if it is an emergency, contact them straightaway.
You will be given the details of your shared care hospital and community nurses when you start your treatment.
