Mission:  To treat cancer using different treatments, but mainly chemotherapy.

Location: In the hospital, both on wards and in outpatients.

Skills: A trained doctor who has specialised in cancer medicine. They have often specialised in particular types of cancer.

Notes: If you have any problems or questions about your cancer and its treatment, then ask your oncologist. If they know about any issues, this will help them to make sure that you are getting the right treatment.
