Affects: The ovary (usually only one ovary, but sometimes both)

Most common symptoms: Swelling or a feeling of fullness in the lower part of the tummy (abdomen)

Tests: Blood test, ultrasound scan, CT scan and sometimes a test called a laparoscopy to look inside the tummy at the ovaries. 

Causes: Unknown

Treatment: Surgery, chemotherapy and sometimes radiotherapy.
